These dusty dirt roads---
A collage of earth and stone
And bare feet walking scorched and skinned for miles
You love it all
This concrete floor
A patchwork quilt of girls and boys
And blankets and bare feet sleeping in a crowd every night
You love it all
Please please please,
Please put down your guns
O God my heart is breaking
O please please,
Please put down your guns
O my God do you see them?
Bright ivory smiles
You walk in holding hands
It's lighting a match to try and fight off the night, words are not enough
so grab hold
Please please please,
Please put down your guns
O God my heart is breaking
O please please,
Please put down your guns
O my God do you see them?
This fire is still lit
But these flames are burning low
So I'll transform I'll become a log and throw myself in
And help it burn
Please please please,
Please put down your guns
O God my heart is breaking
O please please,
Please put down your guns
O my God do you see them?
Just an update; there are a few of you left who have had a big impact on me here, who've shown me more love than I have or could ever reciprocate. I want to share with you what is going on in my life.
Our lives our a container for something bigger than living can hold. I knew that it would come down to this; one day that I would choose between living my life, and leaving "my" life behind to embrace a life so much larger than mine could ever be.
This summer I'm moving to Mexico for a while, leaving behind a good job, friends, and a wonderful place for a chance to live an adventure that matters. If I come back, I hope to come back with a transformed perspective on the impact that one life can have in this world.

Live your life as an ever-changing story, constantly perfecting itself for an infinite goal. Life is too precious to waste, otherwise.

You laugh because I'm different, I laugh because you are all the same...

The more I see of the world, the more I am dissatisfied with it; and everyday confirms my belief of the inconsistancy of all human characters, and of the little dependence that can be placed on the apperance of either merit or sense.
